Participation in the interplastica 2008 Trade Fair   Haren (Germany), December 5, 2007 – Röchling Engineering Plastics KG, Haren and Röchling Sustaplast KG, Lahnstein will be exhibiting jointly at the interplastica 2008 plastics trade fair this coming January (01/29 – 02/01/2008, Booth FG 39) in Moscow.

As part of the German participation in the trade fair, these two companies of the High-Performance Plastics Division of the Röchling Group will focus mainly on semi-finished products made of thermoplastic materials (sheets, rods) for the product presentation at the booth.
The decision to again participate in the Moscow trade fair is due to the increasing strategic focus of sales activities on the growing Eastern European markets. Ludger Bartels, CEO of the Röchling Group who is responsible for the High-Performance Plastics Division, states: “Röchling is already on a very successful track in the East, but we are facing a market with a tremendous amount of potential here which demands even greater commitment on our part.”

For the sale of thermoplastic semi-finished products from the Haren, Lahnstein and Czech Republic production sites, Röchling is currently working very closely with major Eastern European trade partners, who handle distribution of the products until they are delivered to the end user on site. In the composite materials segment as well, Röchling already enjoys an excellent reputation and leading market position in the Russian electrical industry.

Bartels additionally announces: “To obtain an even greater presence and move closer to the market, we will also build a production site in Russia for the processing of thermoplastics in the near future. Röchling therefore continues to pursue a strategy of decentralized production, according to which the subsidiaries are also production sites. The subsidiaries also take over the sales and marketing activities within their regions.”
