Mannheim, August 15, 2019 | Wirtschaftswoche has named Röchling Automotive a "valuable employer for the common good 2019" in the northern region at its Peine location (Lower Saxony). The award is based on a survey commissioned by the business magazine among the people in the vicinity of the site. The residents of various regions of Germany evaluate which companies are particularly valuable for the common good of their region and thus "valuable employers". Röchling Automotive in Peine took 4th place out of a total of 19 evaluated companies in the district.

In a total of 54 counties and 17 independent cities, the residents were asked about 2,158 regional employers and gave their opinion on the public welfare contribution of their companies. The Northern Region is defined by the federal states of Schleswig-Holstein, Hamburg, Bremen, Lower Saxony and Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania.
At the Peine site, 25 million parts are produced annually. These parts supply over 200 different products manufactured in 25 plants. Around 308 employees work in various occupational fields, including 7 training occupations.
