Mannheim, 20 December 2021 | Röchling SE & Co. KG has appointed Raphael Wolfram, CEO and CFO of Röchling Automotive, to the Executive Board of the Röchling Group effective 1 January 2022. Thus, Raphael Wolfram is responsible for the Automotive division on the Group Executive Board of the Mannheim-based plastics specialist. He takes over this assignment from Group CEO Rainer Schulz.
Raphael Wolfram has been CEO of Röchling Automotive since September 2021. He joined the company on 1 May 2019 as CFO of Röchling Automotive. "I am delighted that we were able to win Raphael Wolfram for this responsible position within the Röchling Group. With his expertise, he has made a significant contribution to aligning our highest-revenue division with the challenges of the future in the automotive supplier sector," Rainer Schulz points out.
From 2007 to 2012 Raphael Wolfram worked for Goldman Sachs International in Zurich/Switzerland and in London/Great Britain, including as an Analyst in the Securities Division and lastly as Head of Marketing & Sales of the Fund Solutions Division for the economic region Europe, Middle East, and Africa (EMEA).
In 2012, the native Austrian moved to the Austrian Greiner Group. The internationally active, family-owned company is one of the world’s largest manufacturers and processors of plastics and foam. Raphael Wolfram initially worked for Greiner as Head of the Corporate Center in Bejing/China. Starting in 2012 he took over the capacity as Managing Director of Geiner Packaging in Istanbul/Turkey until he joined Röchling Automotive.
Raphael Wolfram completed his studies with a Master’s degree in finance at the University of St. Gallen/Switzerland having earned a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration beforehand.
