Company from Haren honored by business magazine
Haren - The german business magazine WirtschaftsWoche has awarded the most valuable employers in Germany. On behalf of the magazine, citizens rated companies according to their value for the common good of their region. In the Emsland district, Röchling Engineering Plastics from Haren took the eighth place. 49 companies from the Emsland were evaluated.
"We are happy about the award. As a company with 782 employees, we are not only an important employer and economic factor for the region, we also have a social responsibility that we have been committed to for years," says Franz Lübbers, Member of the Executive Board of the Röchling Group and responsible for the Industrial Division. Röchling has been supporting local social institutions, clubs or sporting events for many years. In the survey, Röchling received an above-average common good rating and was thus honored as a "Valuable employer for the common good".
The evaluation includes economic aspects such as tax revenues or job creation as well as social or cultural projects. The aim was to get a holistic public welfare record of the companies. Citizens evaluated companies and employers from their region in a survey. Nationwide in 54 districts and 17 district-free cities, they rated 2,158 employers, 594 of them so well that they were honored. Among them is also the Röchling Automotive location in Peine.
