Application Examples

Blades in the packaging plant

Blades made from Röchling's Sustarin® C FG are used to stabilize slices of bread in the industrial production of sliced bread, thereby helping to speed up and simplify the process.

Fluid manifold block

  • Sustarin® C not only fulfils the physical requirements, but has also successfully passed the customer's internal compatibility tests.
  • To ensure high repeatability in series production, we have implemented a PPAP process for all prototype developments.
  • By introducing endoscopic inspection, we were able to ensure that 100% of the cross-drilled holes met quality standards.
  • The use of 5-axis milling machines enabled us to achieve precise positioning and therefore optimise the positioning accuracy of the block.

Automatic line for filling and labelling drugs

The challenge was to provide customers with a sterile material that is easy to clean and resistant to chemicals. We utilized Sustarin® C as the chosen material. During the research and development phase, we obtained material approvals and developed samples. Various size variations are available. The product is sterile and fully disposable, eliminating the need for additional sterilization or sanitization procedures.
