Franz Lübbers, CEO of the Röchling Group and responsible for the Industrial division, knows the reason for the continuous growth: “We have constantly invested in the further development of the site in order to optimize production processes and capacities and to set the course for the future. These investments and the tireless efforts of our employees are the main reasons why we can now look back on 25 successful years.”

Successful family day with a colorful program
The more than 130 employees celebrated together with their families in the outdoor area of the Troisdorf town hall, which is located in the immediate vicinity of the company. The visitors were offered a varied program: In addition to children's entertainment, a performance by a live band and a carnival group, an artist created unique portraits of the guests using pyrography, or more precisely, lighted sparklers. Family members also had the opportunity to gain an insight into the company.

Innovative production and technologies impress guests
The visitors were given a direct insight into individual production processes for the high-quality plastic sheets during exclusive factory tours. The sustainable recycling of plastic waste into the production cycle and the 10,000 square meter logistics center, from which the products are shipped all over the world, were also part of the tour.

Helmut Hegemann, Plant Manager of Röchling Industrial Troisdorf, and Helmut Meyering, Global Commercial Director Thermoplastics, emphasized: “We are delighted that so many guests were here to look back with us on 25 successful years! The visitors were particularly impressed by the pioneering technologies and modern production options – that makes us proud.”

PVC competence center
The plant in Troisdorf is the competence center for PVC processing within the Industrial division. Röchling Industrial Troisdorf is a leading manufacturer of semi-finished products marketed under the Trovidur® and TroBloc® brand materials. In addition, high-quality co-extruded semi-finished products made of polyethylene are produced and sold in Troisdorf. The plastic sheets are used in many areas of application in the capital goods industry and are used, for example, to produce swing animals for playgrounds, for antibacterial wall cladding in operating theaters or for the construction of swimming pools.
