An economic solution for small up to medium quantities

Are you searching for a flame - retardant material which is comparable to a high-performance plastic such as PEEK and fulfils all needed requirements you need on the international railway market, beginning with the V0 in accordance to the UL 94 and especially the European standard EN 45545? Sustamid® 6 FR is the solution for extruded semi-finished products made of flame-retardant polyamide 6 (PA 6). It is available as sheets, rods and tubes.

In tight tolerances, machined wedges and spacer plates made from our flame-retardant Sustamid® 6 FR for turnouts will assist you in the design of efficient and low-maintenance rail systems.

Cable clamps made of Sustamid® 6 FR

Our Sustamid® 6 FR material meets the relevant requirements of the rail vehicle standard DIN EN 45545-2:2013 and, as a semi-finished extruded product, enables you to manufacture large-scale machined components in small quantities – for example, cable clamps for rail vehicles.
