Röchling Automotive Opens Training Workshop for Apprentices

Training Workshop Worms for Apprentices

Worms, 7 August 2017… Röchling Automotive welcomed its five new apprentices to the Worms plant on August 1. At the same time, the 250 m² training workshop opened its gates. The training workshop was established as an in-house effort with significant contributions by the twelve apprentices at the location, and now provides ten new workplaces for apprentices.

The training workshop, which is fully equipped for handicraft activities, is where the apprentices learning a master trade complete their basic training. Turning lathes, box column drills and marking plates – the newly renovated 250 m² workshop has everything the technician’s heart desires.

“We are proud to have gained a unique environment in our training workshop that allows our apprentices to learn and develop freely. Without the outstanding support from our apprentices, we would never have been able to put the project into practice so quickly,” explains Karl-Heinz Brüssow, Plant Manager at Röchling Automotive in Worms.

Röchling Automotive offers apprenticeships for industrial mechanics, process mechanics, machine and system operators, as well as commercial professions, for example. Following basic training in the training workshop, the apprentices pass through the different specialist departments at the plant. Depending on the career path, apprenticeships take around 2 to 3.5 years. Röchling Automotive is currently seeking qualified applicants.
