On course for expansion 
China is an important market for Röchling, emphasizes Franz Lübbers, CEO of Röchling Industrial: "We see great growth potential in China. The new building represents a strategically important pillar for our activities and our competitive position in the Chinese market. With the increased production capacities, new technologies and reduced delivery times, we are driving forward our growth strategy in China." 

The extensive construction work on the new production and administration building started in spring 2023 and has now been completed as planned. Wei Gang Popo Li, Managing Director of Röchling Industrial China, is delighted with the smooth progress: "We are very pleased that we were able to put our new plant into operation on schedule and thus ensure further long-term growth in China."

Competence center for thermoplastics and high-performance plastics
On an area of almost 10,000 square meters, thermoplastics and high-performance plastics are processed using state-of-the-art production facilities. The site also plays a key role in the distribution of the entire Röchling Industrial product range and in research and development activities.

Eugen Schmidt, Managing Director Asian Operations, says: "This not only deepens our focus on target industries, but also offers our customers individual solutions for their applications as a strategic partner." The semi-finished products produced there are used in particular in mechanical engineering, the food industry, automation technology and electronics and semiconductor manufacturing.

Ideal location in Chuzhou's Industrial Park
The new building is located in the Industrial Park of the city of Chuzhou, which has a population of four million. About 300 kilometers to the east is the city of Suzhou, where Röchling Industrial already has a production site. " On the one hand, we chose the location because of the central location of the city within China with good connections and infrastructure, and on the other hand because of the good concept of the Industrial Park. With the new plant, we can further consolidate our leading market position in China," explains Eugen Schmidt.
