Sustarin® (Acetal/POM - Polyoxymethylene) is available as semi-finished products in a wide range of dimensions and colors:
We also offer machined components and Acetal blanks made of Sustarin® in accordance with customer drawings.
Materials: Sustarin® (Acetal) available as:
Sustarin® is available as Sustarin® C (Acetal Copolymer) and Sustarin® H (Acetal Homopolymer) in different modifications to meet your requirements. Examples of modifications include:
For Sustarin® H we use Delrin®. (Delrin® is a registered trademark of DuPont de Nemours)
There are also Sustarin® materials suitable for food and drinking water applications:
Acetal (POM, polyoxymethylene, also known as polyacetal) is a semi-crystalline, thermoplastic material, which is characterized by good mechanical properties, high dimensional stability and excellent sliding and wear behavior. Due to their properties, Acetal plastics are used as design materials in a wide range of applications with demanding operating conditions. Sustarin® is subdivided into Acetal Homopolymer (POM-H) and Acetal Copolymer (POM-C). Acetal Copolymer has better chemical resistance, while Acetal Homopolymer features slightly higher strength.
