LubX® CV: The New Benchmark for Sliding Materials

LubX® CV is a sliding material specialized for systems and machinery used in conveyor technology and automation. The material was developed for systems that operate at higher velocities and pressure loads, meaning increased productivity. Scientific research shows LubX® CV significantly improves system performance and efficiency. Even when used for high-load applications, it retains its excellent sliding characteristics and high wear resistance. Benefits include:

  • Excellent dry-running properties with a significantly lower coefficient of friction than UHMW-PE
  • Uses less energy in high velocity conveyor systems
  • High wear resistance and shorter run-in phase for longer maintenance intervals
  • Easily machinable for use in complex parts
  • Reduces noise levels in factory environments, increasing overall safety for workers
  • FDA compliant for use in food grade applications
  • Proprietary dry-running, self-lubricating formulation will not leach like traditional oil-filled materials, preventing dust and dirt build-up
  • All the same excellent sliding properties as LubX® C, but with the added benefit of lower temperature production for use in systems operating at higher speeds and pressure loads
